FAQ
-
Do you have any puppies available?
We have an ongoing waiting list for potential puppy families. The waiting time can be between 1 to 2 years.
-
When is your next litter due?
We only have litters once per year, usually in the spring or summer. The puppies are typically spoken for by the families already on the waiting list.
-
Do I have to show or breed my puppy?
All puppies are sold with a strict non-breeding agreement and must be spayed or neutered. There is no expectation for showing puppies although many families choose to do obedience or other performance activities.
-
Do Standard Poodles make good therapy dogs?
Absolutely! Many of our dogs go on to be therapy dogs that visit long-term care facilities or hospitals.
-
Are Standard Poodles good with children?
Definitely – most of our dogs go into family homes with children ranging from infants to adults.
-
Can I pick out my own puppy?
Unfortunately, no. Puppies are carefully matched with their families based on temperament, family situation, and activity level.
-
How are your puppies raised?
We raise our puppies in our home alongside our adult dogs and family members, not in a kennel.
-
Is a Standard Poodle the right choice of breed for our family?
Standard Poodles are especially intelligent, athletic, and intuitive. Our dogs are known for their gentle and friendly nature and are excellent with children and other animals.
-
A family member has allergies. Is a Standard Poodle still appropriate for us?
Yes. Standard Poodles are non-shedding and have wool coats rather than hair. Most individuals with pet allergies have had no difficulties living with our dogs.
-
How much do your puppies cost?
The cost of our puppies is aligned with other respected and longstanding breeders. Please contact us directly for more information.
